Dugsify · Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy defines the safe, responsible, and ethical boundaries for all administrators, teachers, students, and parents utilizing the Dugsify ecosystem.
Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') outlines the rules, guidelines, and behavioral expectations for anyone accessing or using Dugsify ('Platform'). This policy applies universally to all administrators, teachers, school staff, students, and parents or guardians who have been granted access credentials by their respective educational institutions.
The goal of this policy is to maintain a safe, reliable, and legally compliant digital workspace for schools. By utilizing Dugsify, you agree to adhere strictly to the conditions detailed in this document.
Communication & Community Standards
Dugsify offers tools designed for collaboration, classroom messaging, performance logging, and community engagement. All communication must remain respectful, professional, and directly relevant to school activities or student progress.
Users are strictly prohibited from using messaging features or behavioral logs to engage in cyberbullying, harassment, intimidation, or the sharing of defamatory, discriminatory, profane, or sexually explicit material. The Platform must remain a safe space for young learners and educators alike.
Data Safety & Student Privacy
The Platform deals closely with protected student records, grades, and behavioral diagnostics. Users must never capture screenshots, export, or share student profiles, personal contact details, or performance reports with individuals outside authorized school parameters.
Administrators and staff must carefully verify the identities of parents or guardians before extending portal invitations or linking them to student data pipelines. Intentional leaking or exposure of minor records constitutes a severe violation of this policy.
Prohibited System Activities
You may not use the Platform to distribute advertising material, spam, chain letters, or commercial promotions entirely unrelated to school business.
Impersonating other users—including teachers, administrators, or parents—is strictly forbidden. Creating fraudulent student accounts, falsifying attendance files, or manually manipulating grade transcripts without explicit administrative authorization will result in immediate termination of system access.
System Integrity & Security
Users must not attempt to compromise the structural integrity of Dugsify. This includes uploading or executing malicious software, scripts, ransomware, or viruses designed to damage, disable, or intercept data transmission flows.
Probing, scanning, stress-testing, or attempting to discover vulnerabilities within the database architecture or software APIs without explicit written authorization from Dugsify Inc. is illegal and will be met with immediate legal recourse.
Account Security & Responsibility
Account access tokens and passwords must be fiercely guarded. Users are responsible for all actions executed through their individual login streams. Sharing credentials with classmates, external relatives, or unregistered personnel is explicitly forbidden.
If you suspect that a student or third party has compromised an administrative account, you must immediately isolate the profile and notify your school’s chief technical contact or the Dugsify technical response team.
Enforcement & Violations
Dugsify reserves the right to review system logs and metadata to ensure absolute adherence to this policy. When a violation is identified, we may temporarily freeze, permanently remove, or limit access privileges for specific users or an entire school framework.
For severe infractions involving data theft, system sabotage, or child safety threats, Dugsify Inc. will cooperate fully with local law enforcement agencies and educational ministries to provide necessary forensic evidence.
Legal Compliance
Schools using this platform must ensure that their operational deployment conforms to standard national and international privacy legal frameworks designed to safeguard student data and protection protocols online.
The failure of a school system to enforce this AUP uniformly among its staff and student body may result in the complete termination of the institution's overall software lease agreement.
Reporting Misuse
If you observe an administrator, parent, student, or teacher misusing communication parameters, exposing student profiles, or attempting system exploits, please report the operational event to your institution's management team or flag it directly to our security unit.
By logging into and interacting with the Dugsify platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy. This document should be reviewed alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
